When Harry's examiner, a plump little witch this time, smiled at him and told him he could leave, Harry gave Hagrid a fleeting thumbs-up before heading back to the castle.

特にこのセリフ before you were born は b,f,o,u,w,nなどの唇をつける、ぼめる系の音が主なので 「めくれあがる」とは対照的な動きになっている。
それでもって次に帽子の水をなんとかするんだが: ...tipping a large amount of water out of the rim of his bowler hat into his pocket.

クリーチャーが "Kreacher is cleaning""Kreacher lives to serve the Noble House of Black" 「クリーチャーは掃除しております」「クリーチャーは由緒正しきブラック家に お仕えするため生きております」 というのでシリウスが、 "And it's getting blacker every day, it's filthy,"答える場面。
Kreacher lives to serve the Noble House of Black ってセリフに続いての it's getting blacker every day,ってセリフなんだから、 blackierはHouse of Blackにかけてると解釈するのが自然だと思うけど。
原文をみると、 'Kreacher lives to serve the Noble House of Black ―' とクリ―チャ―が最後まで言い終わらない内に、 'And it's getting blacker every day, it's filthy.'
>>921 原文は "Do it now," whispered his father's voice, "be ready to run . . . do it now. ..." "NOW!" Harry yelled; he didn't think he could have held on for another moment anyway - he pulled his wand upward with an almighty wrench, and the golden thread broke
Neville's childhood had been blighted by Voldemort just as much as Harry's had, but Nevill had no idea how close he had come to having Harry's destiny.
